Meet the Founders

Ashley Giorgio
Having grown up with multiple dogs, Ashley has been an avid dog lover her entire life. When she moved from New York to Charleston, SC in 2022, her work schedule did not allow for her to have a dog of her own. Missing that connection, she began volunteering at the Charleston Humane Society. When time allowed, she even helped with some short-term fosters. That experience opened her eyes to the countless hours and manpower that these shelters go through to help get dogs into their forever homes. Later that year, Ashley met Brandon, and he joined her journey of helping shelter dogs. In 2023, she moved in with him in Savannah, GA. There, they started volunteering and fostering for the Humane Society of Greater Savannah and Renegade Paws Rescue.
Brandon Kaupp
Brandon was born in California in 1997. Growing up he had numerous family dogs both from shelters and the streets. After moving to Georgia, Brandon found himself helping the community by becoming a fire fighter in 2019. In 2022, Brandon met Ashley (CEO) and started their life together. Ashley introduced Brandon to fostering while she was still living in Charleston. Since 2023, they have fostered numerous dogs from different shelters and rescues.

Ralph Plotke Jr
I’ve always had a deep love for dogs, beginning with my first one in middle school—a pup who quickly became my best companion and sparked a lasting passion for these loyal animals. That early experience brought so much joy and taught me the special role dogs play in our lives.
When I moved to New Orleans for law school, adopting Whitney was a natural choice. She was there through the demanding schedule of classes, late-night studying, and adjusting to a new city, reminding me how a dog’s presence can make everything feel more manageable and fulfilling.
When my cousin invited me to join this organization dedicated to marketing and promoting dogs for adoption, I was excited to say yes. It perfectly matched my interests, and I find it incredibly satisfying to help these wonderful dogs connect with families who will love them. Seeing them settle into happy homes is one of the best parts.
Our Story
In May of 2024, Ashley and Brandon started fostering Culver. Over the next year they saw Culver truly transform as she settled into home life. During this time, Culver only received two adoption applications. Those unfortunately did not pan out. As time continued Ashley and Brandon struggled to find ways to show Culver off and get her adopted.
This inspired the idea for Pawsitive Advertising. A 100% nonprofit that focuses on advertising dogs that have are constantly overlooked or those that don’t thrive in traditional public adoption events. Every foster dog parent knows there is a perfect home out there for their foster dog. However, finding that home can feel like an up-hill battle.
To help with that challenge, in the winter of 2025, Ashley reached out to her cousin Ralph and the three of them formed Pawsitive Advertising, a 100% nonprofit.
Mission
Pawsitive Advertising is committed to showcasing and securing forever homes for all foster dogs, with a special focus on the most vulnerable animals. Through strategic/engaging/compassionate marketing campaigns funded by donations, grants and sponsorships, we shine a spotlight on dogs who have been in foster care for extended periods, as well as those with anxiety or health issues who are unable to attend public adoption events. We provide these deserving dogs with a powerful voice, using innovative advertising to create emotional connections with potential adopters. Our mission is to ensure no foster dog is left behind, using the power of positive advertising to transform lives—one adoption at a time.
