Meet Layla – HSGS’s Longest Resident and Ready for Her Happy Ending

Layla (or LayLay, or Lala if you’re friends) has been waiting far too long for her forever family. At just 2 years old, this smart, playful girl is packed with personality, love, and enough energy to make every day an adventure.

Water? She loves it. Sunshine? Her favorite. Bully sticks, Nylabones, and anything made by Bullymake? Sign her up. Layla is happiest when she’s outside exploring, splashing around, or showing off her goofy side with the people she loves.

Layla gets along well with other dogs but would prefer a home without cats. She would also benefit from some basic obedience training to help channel all that enthusiasm into becoming the perfect adventure partner. She’s currently heartworm positive, but don’t worry-we cover the cost of her treatment.

Now for some fun facts about Layla:
– She absolutely LOVES paper. Important document? Junk mail? Homework? Layla believes all paper deserves to be thoroughly inspected.
– Bacon and beef treats are the way to her heart.
– Paw Patrol is a hard no. TVs are suspicious and she would prefer we all agree to turn them off.
– She loves adventures, but she must be safely secured in the car because this daredevil has been known to try and make her own exits.
– She’s incredibly smart, eager to learn, and thrives when given things to do.
